Incorporated in 1969 to accomplish newer heights of success, Sonalika Group has come a long way. Today the group is among the top three tractor manufacturers of India and provides a complete product line including tractors, multi-utility vehicles, engines, farm machinery attachments, diesel gensets, auto components and pick & carry cranes.
In December 2016, the company is planning to venture in China by setting up a manufacturing plant in Shandong province.
In June 2017, the company has expanded the capacity of its Hoshiarpur unit by 200,000 units.
In October 2019, the company has forayed into China’s market with a joint venture with over USD 400 million Shandong Luyu Heavy Industry Co. An assembly plant will be set up in China. It will also assemble the engines for the wheel loader application for captive consumption of Shandong Luyu and other wheel loader construction machinery manufacturers in China. It may be noted that, China is the second largest tractor market in the world
