Reliance New Solar Energy plans silicon unit in Moti Khavdi

Reliance New Solar Energy Ltd is planning to set up a metallurgical grade silicon manufacturing facility in Moti Khavdi in Jamnagar district of Gujarat. The project involves setting up of production facility for Metallurgical Grade Silicon (100 KTA), Silicon Specialty gases (5 KTA) and Polysilicon (90 KTA). The proposed unit will be set up in an area of ~ 113 ha of vacant barren land that is already in possession of RIL in Village Navagam and Kanalus at Taluka Lalpur, District Jamnagar, Gujarat
