Special Cables Pvt Ltd was established in 1983 at New Delhi. The company manufactures special cables which primary find application in the field of power generation and distribution, railway signalling, house service connections, telecommunications, transmission equipment, steel, fertilizers, mining & metals, cements, petro-chemical industries.
The company currently has two manufacturing units, one at Badarpur, Delhi and other in Rudrapur(Uttarakhand). It manufactures low tension PVC/XLPE power cables, control cables, instrumentation cables, railway cables,telephone cables, thermocouple extension/compensating cables, coaxial/radio frequency cable, self supporting aerial bunched cables/conductors(ABC), house cables, industrial wiring and rubber cables/ The company’s products are approved by PGCIL(Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd.), SEB(State Electricity Boards), large industrial houses, substantial portion of raw material requirement of SPCL is procured domestically.
