Shashwat Cables Pvt Ltd Delhi was incorporated in 2005 was promoted by the Maheshwari family. Mr. Rajiv K. Maheshwari is the Chairman and Managing Director. The company is engaged in manufacturing Aerial Bunched Cables (ABC) and aluminium conductors. SCPL commenced commercial operations in 2006 in their manufacturing facility at Dehradun. The Company primarily caters to various State Power Distribution and Transmission Companies, Turnkey Contractors and other power Companies.
The Company has installed capacity to manufacture ~9000 km per annum of Aerial Bunched Cables (ABC) with inbuilt conductors. The capacity utilization is close to 52% in FY15. The Capacity utilization is low as the Company has faced shortage of orders due to increasing competition in the cable manufacturing industry.
