The Company is promoted by Mr. Mukesh Jindal and Mr Desraj Jindal. The company is into manufacturing of power and distribution transformers and steel structures for Transmission Lines in India. The major products of the company are single phase oil filled distribution transformers (5KVA to 100KVA), three phase distribution transformers (6.3KVA to 2000KVA). Its major customers are Electricity Boards/Undertakings in different States.
The company receives orders by participating in tender process. The Company generally executes projects for West Bengal State Electricity Distribution Company Limited, Jharkhand Bijli Nigam Ltd, Purvanchal Vidyut Vitaran Nigam Limited, Uttar Haryana Bijli Vitran Nigam Limited, Paschimanchal Vidyut Vitaran Nigam Limited etc. Earlier PPIPL was concentrating on manufacturing transformers. Recently the Company has forayed into turnkey sub-station erection projects.
