About the Company :
Cabcon group started manufacturing power cables in 1991 with the setting up of Cabcon India Pvt Ltd (CIPL) (the group’s flagship company) by Mr. S B Fomra, having its registered office in Kolkata. CIPL is engaged in manufacturing, supplying and exporting of all types of Aluminum conductors and PVC Aluminum cables, etc. which are used in overhead power transmission lines. In 2010, CIPL has also diversified its operations and entered into execution of turnkey projects for development of rural electricity infrastructure & rural household electrification in villages of various states of India under Rajiv Gandhi Gramhin Vidyut Yojana.
CIPL’s registered office is in Kolkata and it has two manufacturing units; the first Unit is located in Dakshindari Road with an installed capacity of 1500 MTPA of conductors whereas the second Unit is located in Dhulagarh Industrial Park with an installed capacity of 18000 MTPA for manufacture of conductors and cables.
