Bentec India Ltd is engaged in the manufacturing of kWh meters; ranging from 2.5 A to 40 A. The meters manufactured are suitable for both single phase and poly phase electricity supplies, conforming to both national and international standards such as IS: 13010, IEC 521 and BS 5685. ‘BIL’ is an ISO 9001:2000 Certified Company, equipped with in-house quality testing facility. Product line includes: kWh Meters,Miniature Circuit Breakers, Distribution System, Fuse Switches, Electrical Wires etc.
The products carry brand-name ‘BENLO’. Apart from manufacturing activity, ‘BIL’ is also engaged in trading of electrical products, which contributes ~25-30% towards the top-line. The Company has three manufacturing units, one each at Kolkata (for Energy Meters and Distribution Boards), Baddi, HP (for MCB, MCCB, RCCB, Motor Starters, Industrial Products) and Silvassa (for Wires & Cables).
