Hamon Cooling System Private Limited (HCSPL) is engaged in the design, manufacture, construction, and commissioning of different types of cooling towers. HCSPL originally incorporated in 1971 and later in 2007 formed as an equal sharing joint venture between Hamon Group, Belgium and Shriram EPC Limited. However, during FY19-20, the company issued 6,28,04,241 equity shares amounting Rs.62.80 crore. The shareholding pattern of the promoters also changed during FY19-20 and as a result of issuance of new equity shares along with stake sale of 49.16% by SVL Limited (SVL is a holding company for various non-financial services entities of the Shriram Group). As on March 31, 2020, the Hamon group is holding 99.16% of the shares and Shriram group is holding 0.84% of the shares. Due to the aforementioned reason the company’s name was changed to current nomenclature “Hamon Cooling Systems Private Limited” from “Hamon Shriram Cottrell Private Limited”.
