Godrej Consumer Products is planning to set up a refrigerators manufacturing unit at Shirwal in Satara district of Maharashtra. The new plant will have a capacity to manufacturer three lakh units per year. The facility will spread over 1.6 lakh sq ft of land and can also manufacture washing machines.
The project cost is estimated at ₹ 2,000 million. As of June 2019, the project is in planning stage and financial closure has been achieved.
