Voltas Ltd, a Tata Group company is planning to set up a new manufacturing facility in Tirupati in Andhra Pradesh. The company plans to invest ₹ 5,000 million to set up a manufacturing facility which will have a production capacity of 1.0 million units of airconditioners per annum. It will also produce other cooling products. Currently, the company has 24-per cent market share. It plans to bring advanced technical products by the year 2020.
