In July 2016, the company has launched Lava X80 tablet at a price f Rs 9,999. The tablet aims to provide ‘Next Generation Experience’ to consumers. It runs on Android KitKat 4.4 OS with an 8″ inch HD IPS display, featuring 1280 x 800 pixels high resolution and is powered by a Quad Core processor that clocks up to 1.83GHz and supported by 1 GB RAM. It comes packed with an integrated Intel Atom Baytrail graphic core chipset and 3G connectivity with GSM 900/1800 MHz and 2100 Mbps HSPA support. In January 2018, the company is planning to invest Rs. 26000 million in manufacturing facilities. It also plans to roll out the first phone fully designed in India.
